Use imac as a windows monitor

Hello, i have mid 2011 27 inch imac. Although it is still useful, the work programs I use do not work because the updates do not come. Since the current exchange rate is quite challenging in our country, it has become impossible to buy an external monitor. So I want to use my current imac as a monitor for a windows based system. I've gone through a lot of posts/resources that this is possible.
Does anyone have real experience in this matter and can share with me? I really need this.

Unfortunately, you cannot use an iMac as only a display with a windows PC. Certain older iMacs were able to be used in target display mode, but only with certain other Macs and versions of OS X/macOS:
