Unable to post jpg images in Facebook

Good morning.

I am trying to do something very simple, just posting 2 photos of a concert my wife went to last night on my Facebook page.

The photos were just 2 HEIC images which I converted to jpg format on my laptop.

However, when trying to post them I receive the a warning message : tempimage0WHC1 unable to post image

I am at a loss to explain this, can anyone help?

All answers are appreciated.
