Trouble with Iphoto!

I recently updated some applications on my Mac OS X and now I can't drag my photos out of Iphoto onto my desktop like I used to!
I don't know how else to reach them to be able to work on them outside of iphoto...

Open iPhoto then use "Export" under the "File" menu.

You can choose EXPORT from the File menu. It will act the same as an SAVE AS dialog.
