tincy itunes problem

when i insert a disc into my mac nothing happens, the disc appears in my finder and on my desktop but itunes does not pop up automatically like usual, i have made all the settings as if a music disc is inserted open itunes and ask if i want to import to itunes i have tryed those setting anyone have any ideas?
