Texting doesn't autofill my wife's address

When I try to enter my wife’s name on my Catalina’s Messenger, it doesn’t autofill. I haven’t found anybody else on my contacts that doesn’t autofill. If I do the same thing on my iPhone or iPad, it autofills fine. I can type her e-mail address out, and it finds the existing conversation with her (or conversations with her and others). Weird.

I do have her name visible in both my iCloud account and hers, which are both visible from within my contacts.

Has anybody seen anything like that?

Discovered that a text conversation between my wife, my nephew, and myself isn’t showing up on her text app, but she’s getting e-mails from a cryptic source with the text!
