So for the past month or so my terminal has been popping up when I start up my computer and it starts running something. It says this when the terminal starts up:

-jvm is a synonym for the "client" VM [deprecated]

Does anyone know what this is? Or how I can stop it from popping up when I start my computer? I'm running OS X 10.5.8

You have something starting up when you turn on your Mac. There are a number of places where this happens.

It looks like the App is written in Java and maybe the recent Java update broke it???

In System Preferences > Accounts > Click the Tab Login Items what are the Apps in that list? iTunesHelper is the normal one.

I have the same situation. I guess that this was install by the Java version of my Timebox application. I just install that version because the Mac version was for PowerPC so it do not work on my new OS 10.7.2 (Lion).
Am I Right?
