System taking too much storage

Hello! I have a late 2015 macbook pro that still works just fine, except for its storage, that occupies 70 out of 120GB

Is there a way I can make that smaller?

A 120gb system drive is quite small to begin with. I would look at replacing it with a larger SSD. A 500 gb replacement SSD should cost around $60 USD. You could clone the existing drive with the free Carbon Copy cloner utility and then just swap the drives out. It's not a difficult job to do but if you have to take it to a shop I doubt it would cost much.
