strange thing happening with my desktop and open pages

Yesterday my mac started running very slow - internet pages take a long time to load and to click on a thing i would have to aim the mouse some distance below thing i actually wanted to click on....that problem seems to be better today.

The desktop pic seems to have expanded so the dashboard at the bottom and the 'taskbar' at the top are out of view.

Also both the desktop pic and the open move about as i move the mouse - like they are stuck.

I have checked out Appearance/Desktop and screensaver/Displays in System Preferences and there doesn't seem to be anything amiss.

Can anyone help?

I finally turned the whole thing off and on again....and it's all better now :smile: .

Too bad all problems like that cannot be corrected simply by a restart!! Glad to hear it's working!
