STOP syncing to older iPad?

I have an older iPad with 13 GB capacity and only 462.7 MB free. The latest version that I could update to is 10.3.3. The iPad works fine however at times it is very slow I’m guessing because of the amount of free space that’s left. It’s model number MD513LL/A. I’m sure I will be told it’s a legacy model and time to upgrade to a new one and etc. etc. etc. However, like I said there’s nothing wrong with it but when I take a picture or do something on my newer iPad Pro or on my iPhone 8+I don’t want it to sync to this older iPad. How in the world do I stop that from happening? Thank you.

Hello,

If the iPad is working fine, there isn't any reason to replace it, unless you want a newer model with the more current iOS and feature set.

You can disable iCloud syncing for photos in Settings > iCloud > Photos. Have you tried that?
