Some people want to use specific Mac software for it specialized in one feature. But it certified that Mac users may install many Mac software on a computer. That software may make Mac become slowly when then work together.
Some others like to use the comprehension one. The comprehension software always contain many features, you can just use one in each Mac computer.
Which kind of software will you choose for your Mac?

No, the Macs Unix base ensure this doesn't happen. If you look at Activity Monitor you will see that the are LOTs of processes running on the Mac and when they are not working that have little to no effect of the CPU.

More Apps like more RAM.

I use lots of software and don't monitor what Apps are left open. With 2 exception MS Office and Adobe Suite, their Apps are layers upon layers of archaic code and should be avoided at all cost.
