Can't select a specific photo folder as screen saver

With my older Mac I could select a particular iPhoto folder to be used as the photos for my screen saver. Now when I try to set up a screen saver the only option is my entire photo library. I certainly don't want them all used. Please help. Any explanation for this? The folder still exists after I migrated my photos. I'm using osX El Capitan
version 10.11.06
