"Shared Folders" View Problem ?

Hello,

Previously, when I clicked on a Folder, only that Folder opened up.

Now, I seem to get "a Tree," or several columns of what the Folder has, and
I guess what you can call its Sub Folders.

All I want is the single simple view again of just a listing or showing of the contents.

I think this comes under the "Shared Folders" option.

I un-clicked the Shared Folder box in the Get Info., but it still happens.

What else can I do to revert back to the simple Folder view ?

Hi Bob,

When in a folder hit Command 2, this will put the folder in list mode. Then if you hit Command J the View options will show. Check the box on top next to Always open in list view and then click the button on the Bottom for Use as Defaults.

Are you sure that it is a "2" after "Command" ?

Yes, that is a 2.

Command-1 is Icon View
Command-2 is List View
Command-3 is Columns View
Command-4 is Gallery View
