Reinstalling iMac G5 from image help!

Hello.

I really need some help with this. I dont have access to a usb or the cd at the moment but i have the disk image file (dmg) of leopard.

How would i go about installing from this? What would happen if i assigned this image file through restore onto my partition via disk utility? Would this work or would the image file need to be stored on an external medium such as a USB and then assigned to the partition?

Please help!

Yes, you have to be Booted from another Drive. You can not replace the System of the Drive you are booted from.
