Recovery HD locked

I'm having issues with my mac during factory reset. It won't allowed me to reinstall mac OS .

-Are you getting a specific error about the Recovery Partition being locked?

The error message I'm getting is the disk is locked while attempting to install in the recovery disk. I think that's is where my problem. I'm going to try to reformat the disk and perform the internet recovery later this afternoon. hope this will work.

Are you trying to install on the recover partition, or the Macintosh HD partition?

Hi Cory,
I finally got it back working now after trying so many failed attempts for the last couple days.
I did the internet recovery installation via ethernet cable, and formatted the Macintosh HD partition prior the reinstallation.
