Reading comics on mac, using phone as controller

I have been reading comics on my computer for a while now, but just got a cord to use my TV screen to view the comics.

So now i can read my comics on the big screen, but i have to be sitting very close to it to do so. Are there any apps for android that are compatible with macbook pros so that i can control my comic book reader using my phone while sitting across the room?

any help is appreciated
