problem opening Mac applications

Hello,
When i click on Safari or mail and other mac applications (mac) they appear on screen momentarily and then quit.Any ideas?

It sounds like some disk permissions are bad. Let's try repairing those and see what happens. Goto your applications folder --> Utilities --> Disk Utility --> make sure the First Aid tab is selected. Select your Macintosh HD drive and click Repair Disk Permissions. After that's done, restart your computer then try opening those programs and see if the problem persists. Let us know how this works out for you!!!

Unfortunately this has not worked.Mac seems to thik everything is in order.Any other options?

Also, make sure you uninstall the sound enhancer OSS 3D if you have it installed. I traced it as the root of my launch problems, and it's confirmed today on MacFixIt http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?story=20061019092559189
