Does the mac have a 'print screen' option?

Not that I'm aware of; however, you can take a snapshot of your screen by clicking the Command-Shift-3 keys, double clicking on the picture file that it produces, and last but not least, clicking on the Command-P keys to print it.

another way is by pressing command+shift+4. in that way, you can just select what part of the screen you want to take a snapshot of.
