My Powermac G5 is about 4 to 5 years old. It has always operated flawlessly intil the past month or so. It started taking a while to boot up and to open programs. Last night, I came home and the fans were out of control and it sounded like it was going to take off! The screen message said I had to hold the power button to turn it off so I did. Today, it froze up in Acrobat, then in Preview. Just now, I booted it up and the screen went black and the fan started slowly winding back up to take off again. What in the world is going on?
