please help a newbie

hi , any help would be gratefully received , my kitten has pressed something on my keypad and now every time i do something its telling me in the bottom left hand corner and i really do not know what to press to stop this from happening also its talking to me telling me everything i do

Cats are very jealous of their person's computer! I think your kitten has managed to turn on Voice Over, or one of the other Accessibility options. Command F5 may be what you need to turn it off. The best solution is for you to go to System Preferences under your Apple menu, and select Accessibility. Depending on what version of Mac OS you have, the details will differ, but it sounds like assistance for Seeing > Voice Over may be the one you want.
