Photos Question

Many of my photos have little identifying icons on them like for birds and plants. How do I get rid of them? Thanks so much. Oh and while I have you here. Is there a truly safe app for finding and removing duplicates. Thanks again

I thought the latest photos app on Ventura will remove dups but I need to check one of my Macs to be sure.

Well, I could have sworn I saw something along the lines of deleting duplicates but now I can't find it, maybe I was wrong. I used to use "Powerphotos"(?) to delete dups but every time they upgrade a version you have to re-buy it and I am not doing that.

You are correct maw_walker duplicates under imports heading in photos as snap shot. I still use aperture on my older Macs but use Photoshop 24.x on Ventura
