Outlook can anyone help me?

I saved my emails to an olm file and now I can't import them. Having tried to do this outlook now won't restart - i just get the screen splash

First, what version of Outlook do you have? I have Outlook 2011.

Secondly, I have never done what you are doing regarding an olm file, but this link explains how to handle such a file with Outlook:
