Outlook 2011 trouble

I backed up Outlook 2011 with a *.olm file and coppied the Microsoft User Data folder, uninstalled Office manually removing all the pieces, re-installed Offfice 2011 plus the sp2 update and the *.olm file will not import. I tried copying the Microsoft User Data back to the Documents folder and now it wants to " Please upgrade the Office database" but never finishes and then quits.
