I recently tried to install printer software for my HP photosmart 8250 onto my G4. When I noticed my computer couldn't find the printer I restarted the g4 and thats when life started to really suck!! My computer would then stall on the gray apple screen then eventually got to the plain blue screen and stall. I am completely in the dark with this. I tried running the os X disk utility and even reinstalling OS X but nothing works!! I am able to boot in single user mode and see that all my apps are still there, but thats all I know. I'm not to fluent in OS X.
