My 2006 Mac Book Pro running Snow Leopard has frozen up after inserting the Disk Warrior CD and restarting with the C held down. (I have the correct version of DW, I have used it before on this computer).

I was running Disk Warrior in the first place because the computer was running slowly.

The screen now looks like printed shredded paper has been glued together horizontally.

I can't get to any screen commands. The CD has finally stopped spinning. It was heating up quite a bit.

I have tried command E, the eject button, command period, Command Opt esc to stop the program and remove the CD. I would turn it off or unplug it if it wasn't a laptop.

Any help out there?

Hi,

You could try safe mode then do a rapier if able to, but still feel my first hint would be the best/quickest route.
