Office 365 For Excel ???

I bought the Microsoft Office 365 at the Apple store but haven't tried to install it yet. I think I read somewhere that it is less than great...

My ONLY purpose in buying it is to be able to use/work with spreadsheets that I currently have to use Libre or Open Office to view/manipulate and then save as an .xls file.

Can anyone enlighten me on how successful this application is?

Excel is a Microsoft product, I use Numbers an Apple product.

Thanks. I also have Numbers and can use it for my own purposes.. However, Numbers will NOT work with the .xls files I'm receiving from my friend. They have many layers of calculations, many of which are not comparable with Numbers. My only alternative is to download their files, open them in Open Office or Libre.. manipulate them and then save as .xls and send them back to the group.

k, the only advice I can give, is once you have finished with it ensure you quit it.

It used to be a great Mac App.
