Hello,
I come up with a problem with Excel freezes on my iMac 27".
Currently running Excel 2016 and macOS high sierra 10.13.1.
I have SSD and 12GB of RAM, so I decline problems with weak hardware.
Excel freezes on 3-10 seconds, absolutely occasionally, even with a small file.
Can anyone recommend the most stable version of Excel for High SIerra? I previously had MS Office 2012, and it works slightly better, but some slow down at work also appears.

Hello,

The latest official versions are:
-macOS High Sierra 10.13.5
-Microsoft Excel 2016 16.13.1 (18052304) released on May 24th.

I would suggest updating macOS High Sierra and Excel (if needed) to see if that corrects the issue.

-How much free space is on your SSD?
-Are you signed in to Microsoft in Excel?

Excel 2016, V16.13.1, along with OS 10.13.5, works fine for me. Similarly with Word 2016 and Outlook 2016.

To add to Cory's post:

1. Have you ever done any disk cleanup/maintenance/repairs, from a software perspective?

2. This is critical: are you making backups to an external device?

You might want to consider doing a clean installation of OS 10.13.5, and a clean installation of Office 2016.
