The thread at the end of your link says
"65,535 rows or 255 columns (not both at once!) is the maximum that Numbers can handle."
And indeed, when I check
my functions browser/Address it says the same thing (well... 256)
So... I don't know what the end of my project will bring...
But if I had to guess, I'd say about 25,000 rows,
and
not more than 20 columns.
So I think I will forge ahead with the project.
I like Numbers quite a lot, and have developed a decent facility with it.
And the above numbers would seem to be a "green light".
So forward I go.
