How's it going guys,

Second time running into this issue, first time was resolved thanks to luck and the Internet.

Issue resurfaces

I got that deadly folder with a question mark at startup again.

I went into recovery mode and nothing can be done, everything seems to be grayed out, even after multiple attempts.
Can't reinstall OS X because there's no drive to choose from.
Can boot up into safe mode
Booted into cmd option p+r and waited for 3 chimes, didn't work

Last time I fixed the issue by going into terminal from recovery mode and emerging in some hoohah from the interwebs and it worked.

Doesn't seem to releive me of the issue when I looked online for help this time.

MacBook Pro 13 inch, 2012?, was running Yosemite this time and maverick last time the issue occurred.

Any help would be great.
Thanks guys

have you tried holding the Opt key as you hear the startup chime? You'll enter the Startup Manager Mode
