Hi there,

I have come across a PowerMac G4 in silver/grey from a friend of a friend to repair but they did say i could probably keep it. I have never had a mac before and am very experienced with pc's. I don't believe in the battle of pc's vs macs and think why not have both!

Unfortunately though, it doesn't turn on?

It blinks of life for a second on the power button & the logicboard red light comes on, then it switches straight off again. I have checked the kettle lead and thats fine, done the pmu reset. It still wont have it?

Could this be the powersupply? or is it the 3.6v cmos battery that needs replacing?

PLZ HELP!! going a bit nuts trying to figure this out!

regards
Simon
