Mac OS X stuck on start up screen . Help me to get to desktop or to restore Mac to factory settings. Pretty please very important:confused:

This is no good, there are so many things that should/could have happened.

With startup problems its best to take it to the local Mac fix-it centre. Ask them to Backup your files immediately!
