In 2020 I bought my first Mac. I was excited. I had an instructor who did online courses and HIGHLY encouraged AV recording of the classes. I foolishly thought adding Movavi would be the only thing I'd need to add to my new Mac Mini and I'd be set. Uh, NO.
Apparently, it is designed in a way that also the Mini can interpret code/language in order to produce sound to send to the speakers, it has no ability to record sound internally. I could have added an external microphone that could then record from the speakers (along with all other sounds in the room).
While I've had the Mac for a while, it's still a bit awkward at times. I'm now looking into getting a MacBook Air entry level laptop. Is there a specific tech spec I can check to see if it will be able to do AV recording with either Movavi or some other AV recording software?
Really appreciate the input. Thanks!
