My dual boot mac mini won't start up

I tried switching to the mac side from windows XP and now my screen is blank. It won't reboot from the OSX startup DVD either. I hear it spinning and writing, but my monitor is blank. I can get the DVD out fine by holding down F12 on startup (win keyboard)

Can you still boot into the Win XP partition?

Has anyone else had this issue. The same happend to me. I dual boot Snow Leopard and Win 7. I've never had a problem till today. For some reason the system automatically boots to windows. Any suggestions? (Yes i do know how to switch between the two)

You've checked the Startup Disk System Preference isn't set to the Windows Boot.
