MSN messenger contacts all offline after email change

Hello,

I just changed my email address that I use to sign in on MSN messenger. I used this link and it worked sucessfully: https://accountservices.msn.com/uiChangeName.srf?lc=1033&id=9

Afterwards, I logged in and all my contacts are there, but no one was online. I know for sure that some of them are online. This happened yesterday, but still today, no one is online.

I have OSX ver 10.5.1
MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo

Any help would be appreciated.
