Move files and folders on a Samba volume

I am trying to move folders older than 30 days to another folder on a smb mounted server. It works fine when running this script locally, but gives me error when choosing folders on the smb server. I can manually create and move the folders in Finder, so it shouldn't be a permission thing. Does anybody know why it doesn't work?

Update 1: Using 'Find Finder Items" and then writing that content to a "New Text File" yields no results. Seems like it can not read the smb server
