memory question

I want to upgrade the memory on my old mac book pro 15" 1,1. its running OS10 version 10.4.11. the memory is 1.5GB. Can I get 2 x 2GB cards to put in or 2 x 4GB cards. Not sure if there are 2 slots or not.Can anyone help? jollatine

thanks for that, quite limited then. I haven't enough memory left to install final cut pro. Dont know where its all gone
