Mi processor. 24 inch green. 8GB. Ventura 13.2

We all get too much mail, so I go to the top of the list, hold down shift key and highlight some of the list the current, list and push delete.
In about 3 seconds a mail crash happens. Choices are OK and REOPEN. Usually if I do not choose the first file in the list, I will be ok./Users/billybargagliotti/Desktop/Screenshot 2023-02-15 at 4.58.00 PM.png

I have reinstalled the system using the new start up process.
No Joy.

Hello,
  • Did you setup the M1 iMac fresh or perform any form of data migration from an old Mac?
  • How many mail accounts are setup?
  • How many emails in the inbox?
  • Have you tried deleting emails one by one instead of a selection?

    • THE WHOLE M1 WAS POPULATED FROM MY 28INCH
    • How many emails in the inbox
      • UP TO 100?
    • Have you tried deleting emails one by one instead of a selection?
      • YES AND THE FIRST EMAIL BLOWS IT UP, HOWEVER I CAN USUALLY DO #2 TO MANY

  • How many mail accounts are setup?
  • ONE AND ONE ONLY
  • How many emails in the inbox?
  • THIS MORNING 167
  • Have you tried deleting emails one by one instead of a selection?
    • YES, BUT THE FIRST ON THE LIST WILL CAUSE THE CRASH
I have reinstalled the system files from the new "hold one button at boot up"

The problem was irritating! ! !
It just went away, all is ok!
It repeated itself in crashes, but it has been perfect for a week.

Hi,

Sorry I never replied!

Glad it resolved...weird issue. Maybe there was an errant email or it was something to do with the sync to the email providers server?

Let us know if the issue returns.
