Automatic purging mail junk folder

I thought that my mail's junk folder automatically purged mail older than a week, but that doesn't appear to be the case anymore. I looked for a setting to do this, but couldn't find it in Ventura 13.1.

Is there such a setting? Or is this something I need to do manually?

I do mine manually. I logged into my iCloud account with a browser thinking I'd see some other settings there that weren't in the mail client itself and didn't see anything. Guessing manual is the only way? Maybe someone else has more info than I.

I am also looking for an automator programming to check my junk mail every " set time interval" and delete junk. Yes yes use all other suggestions on this and many more sites and yes I have rules but there is one rule it wont accomplish " if mail is junk mail" = delete.
That rule just does not work.
