SOLVED Mail & mailbox

1. For some reason I cannot see the bottom of the screen. The top across doesn't show unless I hover over it (the apple and the Mail, File and so on).
2. Messages are to the right and left of the main mailbox screen. I do not know how to put them back where they belong.

Can anybody help?

Sounds like you are in 'Full Screen' mode.
Hover over the top of the screen and click the third circle, this should resize the screen.
