MacOS Catalina Security & Privacy

i have downloaded an app on Catalina but i can't install it bcoz its not from identifiable source. i have tried 'sudo spctl --master-disable on Terminal so that
it can include 'Anywhere' on Apps downloaded from.... but it doesn't.
Why ideas?

Have you tried Control clicking on and choosing "Open"?

That doesn't work on Catalina

Control Click equals Right Click equals Two Finger Click.
This seems to indicate that it works:

Right-click on the email sender in the From field
