Macbook to whiteboard hookup

Hi,
I am new at this. I am trying to hook up my macbook to a white board at my school. The whiteboard has a box that has a wire with a large plug ( the kind with 2 screws) that does not fit into my macbook.

What type of wire should I purchase to hook up my macbook to this whiteboard box?

I am trying to run a powerpoint with an embedded video from utube on the whiteboard. If you forsee any other problems ,please let me know.

You need a device for connecting your laptop to the pp-viewer, which can be tricky. The easy way to do it is to use the computer of your school, and simply put your pp on i stick. Different viewers require different divices, which in turn may or may not connect with your laptop, so if this is waht you would like to do, you just have to try out different devices.

You need the Matching Cable to what your mac and Projector for white board have.
