Hi! Does anyone know how to make my Lexmark printer default to black and white only? I print mostly documents and I hate wasting color ink. I want it to automatically default to black and white for everything unless I tell it I want color instead. Any ideas? I have OS X Mountain Lion.

You should be able to select black & white in the printer dialog box. When you go to print a document, the print dialog comes up. If you can't see anything other than Printer and Presets, you need to click the disclosure triangle to the right of the printer name. Or, you will see Copies & Pages just below these. If you see this, click on Copies & Pages and a drop-down list will appear. I believe in Image Quality, you can select Black & White or it may be labelled Draft Quality.

See if you can look through the options and find it. Let me know if you can't.
