Macbook Air dead after water spill

Hi everyone. My girlfriend spilled water on the MBA's keyboard. I immediately shut it down and left it to dry for about a week.
When plugged in, it shows that its charging, but it just wont turn on. Tried all the usual PRAM, holding down the power button etc... Is there anyway I can know if the damage is to the top plate keyboard or the motherboard?

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if the logic board was damaged due to the water spill. I tend to doubt that it is just the keyboard that has failed.

The best course of action would be to not leave it plugged in or use it, and have an Apple Store Genius or Apple Authorized Service Provider take a look at it to diagnose the extent of the damage.

Thanks. I wanted to see If there was something I could do but I guess off to the Apple store it goes.
