Those are definitely SUPER prices! I actually snagged a 256 gig model at Best Buy in December for $999 (plus tax), and I thought it was a steal. But $900 is even better!
I am definitely pleased with the machine. It performs well with High Sierra, and the 8 gig of Ram definitely helps, based on what I use my Macs for.
And remember that even though the screens are not Retina, these Macs have 2 USB 3.0 ports on them, which means there is no need to buy extra cables if one has USB 3.0 peripherals, like I do. And the display still looks fine. Heck, my 14 year old 19" Sony LCD Monitor still looks good with my Mac Mini.
