Macbook A1181 Hard Drive Upgrade

Hi Guys,

Looking to upgrade my macbooks hard drive, it still has the original 160gb.

I want to get a 320gb+ hard drive 7200rpm.

I've looked at my macs current sata details and it says the following:

Link Speed: 1.5 Gigabit
Negotiated Link Speed: 1.5 Gigabit

Does this mean i need to get a drive with sata 1.5gb/s or would a sata 3.0gb/s hard drive work?
