Mac mini late 2014 / Montherey blurry text

Hello! after upgrading to Montherey all text on screen is blurry pixelated . Tried to fix by changing screen prefs no way! Screen 1080p 4K should be ok.
there has been some talks here and there about this problem but i have until now not seen a solution except downgrading to ??? or change to new mac mini. Thanks for ideas and help

• Can you upload a photo of what it looks like?
• What brand/model is the external display?
• How is the display connected?

Hi C. thank you for answering. My Display is a Samsung S24R35x 1920x1080 connected to the mac mini by HDMI ( bought a new HDMI cable yesterday no change) some screenshots as attachment. I tried everything ( changing Hz settings, all possible screen configuration ) no change still blurry, would be great if you had a hint! Thanks from Switzerland

OK, thanks.

That looks like font smoothing. Apple removed it from the General preference pane in Big Sur. Here is an article that may help:

How to Adjust or Disable Font Smoothing in macOS Big Sur

Try that and see if that resolves it.
