In Mac Mail.....
Help! please. When I click on the bin button to dismiss a read email, the email disappears
altogether. It doesn't go in the bin or sent box. So if I want any email again I can't retrieve them. Cheers & Beers for help-gt

Is the “bin button” the one that looks like a trash can? It’s the delete button. If you want to send it to trash, you can just select the message and press the Delete key. It will then go to the trash folder. I know… it can get confusing.

By the way, is there a reason you haven’t updated to 13.2.1? macOS 13.1 had a number of bugs that have been address in 13.2 and 13.2.1.
