I cannot see recently created file folders through Mac Mail. I create folders and add documents and photos and when I go to mail them they do not show up in Mac mail when I try to attach the files. Sometimes they show up the next day. I have to put the files I want to attach on my desktop and then email them. Help! MacBook Pro, 2012 running the last version of Mavericks.

Hello and welcome.

-In what location/folder are you creating the folders and documents?
-How many and how large in file size are the files?

They are all different sizes and in the documents folder. I can't get to any folders I have created in the last week.

OK...that is strange. A few questions:

-Is the time and date correct on the Mac?
-If you navigate to the Documents folder in Finder, can you see them there?
-Can you see them in the Open dialog of any other application?
