I have saved or downloaded a website as a complete web page... when I go to the downloaded folder it shows all of the components of the HTML.. how can I open the saved web page?

Using Safari, there isn't any way to download an entire website and have access to all files individually. The web archive feature downloads the page as web location file that you should be able to double-click and open with Safari, whether you have Internet connectivity or not.

Other browsers like Firefox have more control over the downloaded page/files, and several option in the Save Page As dialog box. If you see an HTML file and a folder containing the images and other related files, you can simply drag the HTML page into a window in Firefox to have it open.

What is it exactly that you are trying to do?
