lvds cable compatability over 12" ibook range

hello, my g3 500mhz iBook needs a lvds cable and a backlight, my 15" titanium powerbook
needs an optical drive and a Hdd. my question is- if I bought a used 12" g4 iBook with
slot loading drive, would its lvds cable fit my g3 iBook, ands it's Hdd and optical
fit the tibook? if so what models / year ?

Doubt it very much. You'll need someone with a pull aparts, to be definite. We've swopped parts in the same family and they didn't work. The Hd should but beyond that...
