I'm helping my sister out with her macbook, which has horizontal lines on the display. I took the display assembly apart and made sure everything was connected properly. The lines are affected and sometimes eliminated by the back and forth positioning of the display, leading me to believe it's a cable issue, not an lcd issue. Am I right to assume this is caused by a bad display data cable, or are there other potential causes?
